THEATRE CLASSES FOR STUDENTS OF ALL AGES

Academy of Creative Theatre

Our Academy of Creative Theatre (ACT) has been providing students year-around theatrical training for the past 12 years. We are dedicated to inspiring young performers and technicians in a lively, nurturing and fun environment.

With sessions in the fall and spring complimenting the local school calendar, ACT’s after-school classes are open to all levels of experience. Our well-structured classes offer students the opportunity to develop skills which will benefit them both on and off stage.

Our ever-popular ACT Summer camps offer young artists an opportunity to learn in an inspiring and creative environment. As in past years, we are offering Musical Theatre Camps for students entering grades 1-6, specializing in acting, singing and dancing. ACT’s Summer Conservatory for students entering grades 7-12 is a wonderfully dynamic program taught by a combination of professional guest artists and core ACT teachers, including classes in voice, movement, improv, acting for the camera, audition techniques and more! ACT’s Acting Out! camp offers our non-musical performers entering grades 1-6 a whole week of theatre games, improvisation, and character work. All fun-filled ACT camps and classes always conclude with a final celebratory performance for friends and family!

A.C.T. Mission Statement

To inspire young actors and help them develop skills to become creative performing artists. To provide well-structured training and performance-based exercises and presentations in a lively, nurturing, interactive environment taught by professional artists who are passionate and skilled in working with young actors.
