61 Years! Wow!

San Luis Obispo Little Theatre invites you to join us as we embark on our 61st season. For over six decades, SLOLT has been delighting audiences with quality entertainment, making us one of the longest continuously running community theatres in the nation! Over 350 productions have been staged in more than 20 locations around the county, starting with our first production of Blythe Spirit in 1947. Thanks to the generosity of the City of San Luis Obispo, we’ve enjoyed thirteen years in our current location, the former SLO County Public Library, in the heart of our treasured “SLO Town!”

SLOLT is committed to providing a wide variety of productions; from musicals, comedies and dramas to our original FUNdraising Legends Series shows, all of which have garnered rave reviews. This year, SLOLT was voted #1 in SLO County in two categories by the New Times Readers’ Poll – Best Community Theatre Group and Best Place to See a Play! SLOLT is also the home of our acclaimed Academy of Creative Theatre, helping young people develop lifelong skills, self-esteem and confidence through theatrical education and performance. We also host a growing Readers’ Theatre program, providing staged readings of thought-provoking plays and new works. Many thanks to our volunteers and donors who make all of this possible.
